76 months old

As you can see, Britton has inherited the Nagle front teeth - space so wide you can floss with a toothpick!  The teeth on either side of her front teeth won't come in because there isn't any room.  I'm not sure what the dentist will recommend at her next appointment in February, though I suspect that six years old is much too young for braces.  Maybe?  Either way, that smile is bright and makes me happy, and the hubs and I see it every day.

While Britton is happy to be back at school after Thanksgiving break, she's also now on her third teacher this year!  Her first teacher, Mrs. B., was in school for a couple of weeks before giving birth to a baby boy.  Her long-term substitute, Miss L, came in and took over the class.  Now, Miss L. has found a permanent position at another school, so Britton got another long-term substitute today.  She's rolling with it, not so stuck in routine as her mother (ahem) that it's causing any issues.  She also got two new students in her class this week!

As an update on school, Britton has been kicking butt on her spelling and math tests!  She diligently does her homework every night (about 10-20 minutes per day), and enjoys learning new things every day.  Britton is starting basketball right after Christmas - a league for first and second graders at her school.  She still wants to learn to ice skate, but I haven't looked into lessons yet.  Maybe after Christmas as well!

Making a gingerbread house with Memaw!

Likes:  dresses, Christmas decorating, playing with her neighborhood friends

Dislikes: pants, getting up early after 6 days off of school
