sipping through a straw

In all honesty, this may not be an accomplishment that registers on many people's radars of being a milestone. So what? I think it's pretty cool. We were all at our favorite Mexican restaurant Chuy's last Saturday when Britton was brought her lemonade in a cup with a lid and straw. I was going to pour it into her sippy cup, but she made off with the cup while I was distracted by some yummy queso. And she can drink through a straw! I do believe that this is her first successful (as in not squeezing the cup and spewing juice everywhere) sipping!
