We woke up yesterday morning to snow on the ground. It's not technically the first snow, because back in October we had a very brief (all of 2 minutes) snow fall that hit the ground and immediately melted. This was the first "real" snow fall - the one that actually stuck. Britton was so excited, telling me about going sledding and making snowballs, and eating snow cones. And then, as it always happens early in the winter season, the snow was on its way out by the time we all got home that afternoon. No sledding, but I did manage to get some shots of her in front of the shadow-covered snow that survived.
And then I added a note in Barrett's baby book: "First snow! 11/12/13"
