new toys

Britton is really into toys that make music and sound. She dances and shakes her head, and while to some it may look like a conniption fit, to us it is truly adorable. So, during her nap, I emptied some pill bottles, filled them half-way with pinto beans, and glued the tops on. Someone loves her new shakers!







And with the summer heat already flirting with 100 degrees, the hub decided on a recent outing to Target to pick up a baby pool. Britton hasn't used it yet because the water didn't warm up enough, but next weekend we plan on trying it out. She loves splashing in the tub, so hopefully our little water baby will enjoy her pool!
